Description
Paediatric First Aid Awareness Course [CPD]
This online course will give you the skills and confidence to deal with minor injuries and accidents with children and young people. It contains all the up to date information on the current protocols for paediatric first aid. You will receive a digital certificate on completion. The course can be used in conjunction with our 2 day Paediatric First Aid qualification, or as a refresher. Please note that this is not a full Paediatric First Aid course.
This e-course is focused on situations which may arise in your setting. Aimed at, but not limited to: early years settings, schools, colleges or at home. Developed by our in-house highly qualified first aid trainers, we can ensure the content is up to date, adheres to HSE guidelines, and is easy to understand.
The course duration is 4-6 hours. It does not need to be completed in one sitting! You can run through some modules, have a break and return to where you left off. Each module features a combination of information and simple questions, with a final assessment at the end of the course. You have unlimited attempts to gain the required pass mark, ensuring that you are confident in the skills you have learned.
To book, simply add the course to the basket and add your details. You will then receive a confirmation email from us, followed by your login details for the course. Please note: one person per booking only. If you require more than one course for a single person, please email us and we will arrange the courses for you. See below for group rates.
NOTE: This online first aid course will give you an awareness of paediatric first aid. It does not replace practical training. If you require an in-person HSE compliant first aid qualification with 3 year certificate, you will need to attend a face to face course. You can use this online unit as part of your qualification. See our selection of in-person courses here or contact us for more details.
