Snowsports Professionals First Aid CPD

This course is recognised and accepted by SSE (Snowsport England) and SSW (Snowsport Wales) and is mentioned in the SSE first aid policy, which can be viewed here.

We have developed the first and only bespoke online First Aid CPD aimed at people working in the snowsports industry. Skiers, snowboarders, snow shoers, toboggan riders — all things related to snow and the mountains!

This e-course will give you the skills and confidence to deal with injuries and accidents when partaking in snowsports activities. It has been specially designed for professionals working in the snowsports industry: instructors, guides or slope patrol. Developed by our in-house highly qualified first aid trainers working in the snowsports industry, we can ensure the content is up to date, adheres to HSE guidelines, and is easy to understand. You will receive a digital certificate on completion.

The course duration is 4-6 hours. It does not need to be completed in one sitting! You can run through some modules, have a break and return to where you left off. Each module features a combination of information and simple questions, with a final assessment at the end of the course. You have unlimited attempts to gain the required pass mark, ensuring that you are confident in the skills you have learned.

NOTE: This online first aid course does not replace practical training. If you require an in-person HSE compliant first aid qualification with 3 year certificate, you will need to attend a face to face course. This Snowsports Professionals First Aid course can be used in conjunction with an in-person course, if used within 3 months of completion. You can use this online unit as part of your qualification.
