Product Orders And Course Booking

For ease of use and understanding the following will apply here – World Class Training will be known as WCT in this document
Welcome to the WCT Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to sales conducted via this website and shall prevail over all and any other terms and conditions, whether express or implied. No variation to these terms shall be accepted by us. Please read through the following carefully. Before you make any purchase via this website, you must agree to these terms and conditions by clicking the “Accept” button below. Different terms and conditions may apply to sales in store. In these Terms and Conditions, “we”, “us”, and/or “our” refer to WCT.; and, “you” refers to you, the customer and/or potential customer.

When you place an order we will treat this as an offer to buy from us. If we accept your order, we will send you an email confirming your order/booking and giving you an order number, at which point we make a legal contract with you. For the avoidance of doubt, unless and until we send an email confirming your order/booking and providing your order number, we have not entered into a legal contract with you. We are entitled to refuse to accept your order for any reason whatsoever, in which case we will notify you by email as soon as possible. Please quote your order number on all correspondence with us.

Pricing Policy And Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT. In the case of product prices, these are exclusive of delivery charges. You may pay for your order with the following credit/debit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Switch, JCB, Delta or Solo. To ensure that online purchases are secure, your credit/debit card details will be encrypted using SSL technology. It is imperative that you supply the cardholder’s name as it is shown on the card, and the cardholder’s address exactly as it appears on the statement.

Alternatively, you may pay for your order by cheque. If paying by cheque, please send a cheque drawn on a recognized UK bank and made payable to World Class Training Ltd. To World Class Training, Brixham Laboratory Building, Freshwater Quarry, Brixham, TQ5 8BA England, and allow five working days for clearance. Please write your name and address and your order number on the back of the cheque.


Delivery (if ordering an item) times of and costs are stated in our delivery section. Delivery is currently restricted to addresses within the United Kingdom. Specific delivery times are dependent on the delivery method chosen. If goods are not delivered within the time stated please contact us first and as soon as possible; either by email, telephone, fax or post. We cannot accept responsibility for the services provided by third parties that we use to deliver goods to you.

Returns/Exchange Policy

If the wrong item has been dispatched or the goods are not of satisfactory quality they can be returned to us for a full refund. With regard to goods that not covered by the above, we may consider an exchange provided goods are unused, in their original condition with labels/tags

attached and/or in the original sealed packaging. Except where faulty goods are returned all and any delivery charges incurred are non-refundable. Notwithstanding the foregoing, all refunds are at our sole discretion. IN ALL CASES please contact us and we will inform you how items should be returned to us. Without exception, magazines, videos, DVDs, and/or personalized goods will not be refunded under any circumstances.

When you place an order/booking we collect your name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number. We may record which products you are interested in and which products you purchase. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site use which enables us to improve the service we provide.

This information is used to process orders and to provide a more personal shopping experience. We may use this information to tell you about changes to our website and to let you know about our products and services.

If you do not wish to receive this information, please send an email to info@worldclasstraining.co.uk We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other companies.

WCT values its customers’ privacy. We will not pass your details on to any third party, and all your information is confidential. We use the information we collect on the site to make shopping possible and to enhance your shopping experience. We do not sell or trade your personal information to others.

When you input your details they are encrypted to ensure security during transfer.

Section 2

First Aid Courses (On Site)

If attending a course to achieve a registered OFQUAL certificated course, the delegate MUST be over the age of 16 at the time of the course.

We will ensure you receive a fully qualified trainer to deliver the course to you. If you have requested an OFQUAL certified course you will be registered with the appropriate organisations to adhere to OFQUAL regulations.

All courses which are delivered on site, involve a third party organisation which supplies the space/room for the course duration. WCT closely monitors the appropriateness of the space provided, however, we cannot accept liability should the supplier fall below the standards required for our courses.

Course Cancellations

WCT reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course. Where it is necessary to cancel or reschedule any course, you will be informed at the first available opportunity and delegates will be rescheduled as a priority to the next available course(s). We do not accept any responsibility for certificates expiring as a result of a cancelled course. If we cancel or re-schedule a course you will have the right to request a refund for the booked course. WCT can not be responsible for Hotel or any pre booked accommodation for the duration of the course. We strongly recommend that any accommodation booked has the option for cancellation.

Course Re-schedule By Customer

If you, the customer, wish to reschedule your course to an alternative date, WCT will make a admin charge of £25 to move your booking to another date to accommodate your requests. If the rescheduled course is cancelled by WCT there is no refund on customer course changes. An alternative date will be offered.

Course Payment

Full payment is required prior to the course start date. WCT reserves the right to withhold certificates until full payment has been cleared. Individual consumers are required to make payment at the time of booking.

Company Cancellations

If you are booking as a company, the full course fee will be charged for cancellations made fewer than 10 working days before the course start date. Cancellations can be received by email info@worldclasstraining.co.uk

Individual Cancellations

If you are booking as an individual, the following periods apply.

  • Within 14 days of course commencement no refund given
  • 14-28 days of course commencement 50% refunded
  • 28- days and over, of commencement 75% refunded

Attendance Of The Course

It is essential that ‘you’ the delegate, attend all aspects of the course. Failure to attend the entire course will result in ‘non certification’.

Issue Of Certificates

Note; The successful completion of the course will result in your details recorded with the appropriate bodies. This process may take up to 3 weeks. WCT cannot be responsible for a ‘lapse’ in your continuing cover. Your certificates will be digitally copied and emailed to you. This avoids lost certificates and so would incur further charges. If you require a further digital certificate at a later date there is a fee of £5.00 A hard copy along with a CPD first aid card can be purchased.
