The Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW course is taking place at the WCT head office in Brixham, South Devon. Covering the basics of first aid at work so ideal for those working in an office or low-risk workplace.  For those that work outdoors or in a higher risk environment, we offer 2day Outdoor First Aid courses which may be more suitable.

You must be able to demonstrate first aid to someone lying on the floor, i.e. administer Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation to a casualty. There is a short multi choice question paper at the end of the course. All candidates must complete the practical observation and written tests during the day. All efforts are made to ensure any needs of the candidate are met in order to ensure a fair method of assessment.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work EFAW course will cover the minimum of:

• Role of the first aider.
• Accident reporting,
• Primary assessments,
• Administer first aid to a casualty who is breathing normally,
• Administer first aid to an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally.
• CPR and Choking,
• Wounds & Bleeding
• Shock.
• Burns
• Other topics as required for your work place.
