The system.
This blended learning Outdoor First Aid course is ideal for snowsports instructors. It is also recognized by Snowsport governing bodies BASI/IASI etc and other outdoor activity institutions. This course is primarily designed for use in both closed environments and on the mountain while teaching snow sports activities. The added module within the World Class Training course includes the correct use of a spinal board and the process of working in teams. This is very useful, for example, when teaching ski groups. Outdoor first aid is a must for those engaged in looking after people in an outdoor environment, such as moorland/mountains/sea and river activities. In fact, it is essential for anyone who works with people in an outdoor environment, whether they are teaching ski groups or leading hiking tours.
Our trainers are all experienced Outdoor Instructors. They have the knowledge and experience in this field to ensure that you have the best practical skills and understanding for dealing with accidents in an open environment.
On successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate in PDF format via email. Please note that this is a Blended Learning WCT award in Outdoor First Aid.
