Outdoor Activity First Aid

For those working in the outdoor environment.

Course title: QNUK Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid (RQF)
This is designed for those working in the outdoor leisure industry. This qualification provides the knowledge and skills for first aiders working in outdoor environments where help is generally up to 2 hours away. It is an approved qualification and is recognised by many outdoor associations and instructor qualification bodies within the UK. OFQUAL certificated and carries credits on the National Credit Framework.
Accepted by BASI / IASI / SSE / and other snowsport bodies. 

Emergency First Aid at Work

For those requiring the one day course

Course title: QNUK Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF)
This qualification provides the knowledge and skills required of first aiders, as outlined in the Health and Safety (First aid) Regulations 1981 (NI 1982). Covering first aid topics as detailed below. Giving you the basics for the skills required when dealing with a minor incident. The EFAW course is ideal for your entry level into first aid.

First Aid at Work

Course title: QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (QCF)
This qualification provides the knowledge and skills required of first aiders, as outlined in the Health and Safety (First aid) Regulations 1981 (NI 1982). It is intended for those working in an environment which may require life support for a casualty. This is a qualification that indicate an individual can undertake a specific role in the workplace and that may be relied upon by employers.

Basic Life Support Including Use of an AED

For those requiring the ‘BLS’ basic life support short course

QNUK Level 2 Basic Life Support Including Use of an AED  (QCF)

The QNUK Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (QCF) provides learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to use an automated external defibrillator and perform CPR. This may be in addition to their role as a workplace first aider

Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis

For those requiring the ‘BLS’ basic life support short course

QNUK Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (QCF)

This is a qualification that indicates an individual can undertake a specific role in the workplace and that may be relied upon by employers. 2.2 The QNUK Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (QCF) qualification is ideal for anyone with the potential responsibility to administer adrenaline during an anaphylactic reaction

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation

For those requiring the basic life saving skills.

Course title: QNUK Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation (QCF)

Level 2 Award in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation provides learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to use an automated external defibrillator and perform CPR. This may be in addition to their role as a workplace first aider.

Emergency Paediatric First Aid

For those requiring first aid skills whilst working with Children

Course title: QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

This qualification provides the knowledge and skills for first aiders working in early years environments. Learners will gain the knowledge, skills and understanding of emergency paediatric first aid as outlined by the Department of Education, September 2016.

Award in Education and Training

For those requiring a qualification to enable them to deliver regulated courses to Adults

Course title: QNUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF)

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) provides an introduction to teaching. It can meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, such as:

  • Individuals not currently teaching or training achievement of the qualification does not require practice other than microteaching unless units from the Learning and Development suite of qualifications are selected;
  • Individuals currently teaching and training (including those who have just begun teaching and training) although the qualification does not require practice other than microteaching (unless units from the Learning and Development suite of qualifications are selected), opportunities may be made available to observe and provide feedback on a trainee teacher’s practice;
  • Individuals currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching. Some units from the Learning and Development suite of qualifications may be achieved within this qualification. These units require practice to be assessed. The purpose of the qualification in the QCF is to ‘prepare for employment in a specific occupational area.

Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People

For those requiring a qualification to cover regulations for dealing with children/young adults

Course title: QNUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF)

The QNUK Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) provides an introduction to teaching. It can meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, such as:

WCT Award in Basic Life support skills in Dentistry

For those requiring a qualification to cover GDC CPD

Course title: WCT Award in Dental Emergencies Training. (Annual)

This course is designed for the dental practice team. The course includes CPR inline with UK Resuscitation Council’s guidelines. We will also cover the use of equipment and will be in-line with the Care Quality Commission and General Dental Council requirements.

This course will furnish your staff with the core elements required for CPD. The final assessments and certification can be used as Verifiable evidence for the GDC.
