DESCRIPTION:Emergency First Aid at Work / EFAW Course\n9.30am-5 pm \nThe Emergency First Aid at Work course is taking place at the WCT head office in Brixham\, South Devon. Covering the basics of first aid at work so ideal for those working in an office or low-risk workplace\, or even at home. \nYou must be able to demonstrate first aid to someone lying on the floor\, i.e. administer Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation to a casualty. There is a short multi choice question paper at the end of the course. All candidates must complete the practical observation and written tests during the day. This qualification is aimed at those working in an early years setting who require a paediatric first aid qualification to meet the early years foundation stage requirements. The qualification is valid for 3 years. \nThis is a blended learning course. it requires online learning to be completed before the in-person date on 19th December. You will be set up with an account for the WCT online learning platform – log in details will be emailed to you. \nAbout Blended Learning \nWith this Blended Learning option\, you can learn online at your own pace before attending an in-person session with practical scenarios and an assessment. \nOnce you complete your booking\, log in details for the online content will be sent to you automatically by email (please note this can show up in your junk/spam folder). Allow around 8 hours of total online learning time. This must be completed before the practical day.
