Click here for more options \nThis course is designed for those spending time in the outdoors: skiers\, snowboarders\, hikers\, mountaineers\, climbers\, swimmers… Whether you’re an activity leader\, snowsports instructor or outdoor enthusiast\, it’s important to know what to do in case something goes wrong when you’re in the wilderness! \nOur Emergency Outdoor First Aid course gives you the skills needed for situations where you may be some distance away from immediate help. Part of this qualification covers the entire content of the Emergency First Aid at Work course\, as outlined in the HSE (First aid) Regulations 1981 and the HSE (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. \nThis blended learning course\, combining online learning with an in-person assessment\, is accepted and recognised by many outdoor governing bodies. If applicable\, please check your requirements with the relevant governing body to ensure this course fulfils your needs. We can confirm the following snowsports governing bodies accept this course: BASI\, IASI\, SSE. \nClick here for a comprehensive overview of the course & content. \nAbout Blended Learning \nWith this Blended Learning option\, you can learn online at your own pace before attending an in-person session with practical scenarios and an assessment. \nOnce you complete your booking\, log in details for the online content will be sent to you automatically by email (please note this can show up in your junk/spam folder). Allow around 8 hours of total online learning time. This must be completed before the practical day. \n \nAs this course covers the HSE requirement for the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certification\, this certificate can be added to your booking as an extra.
