First Aid at Work
First step to become a First Aid Trainer
World Class Training’s awarding body, QNUK, are happy to accept a BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) Level 2 (or higher) qualification as one of the teaching requirements to be a First Aid trainer. This means that to become a First Aid trainer with World Class Training you will only be required to attend the 3 day First Aid at Work course plus a day to start your assessing unit of the Award in Education and Training. The First Aid section of the course will be held from Tuesday to Thursday and the Friday devoted to starting your assessors unit in the award in education and training.
World Class Training trainers will also be sharing with you their training principles, hint and tips to help you get the best from your learners. This will be done outside of the First Aid at Work hours so will not affect the number of training hours required to complete your course.
If you are planning on registering through a different centre to World Class Training, or are hoping to set up on your own you need to check whether they too will accept your BASI qualification as the teaching requirement.
IF YOU DO NOT HOLD A BASI 2 or above in Snowsports, QUALIFICATION
You will need to have the QNUK Level 3 in Education and Training (or equivalent) certification which can be found here.
The Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work is a perfect first aid qualification for higher risk environments. This qualification meets the requirements for the HSE and is also a regulated qualification.
JUST NEED THE FIRST AID COURSE?
